NAAAP Vancouver is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization served by a dedicated board that graciously commit their valuable time and professional services.

Rudy Chung President
Rudy returns to this year's board as president. Rudy plans to devote his energies toward garnering sponsorship and increasing NAAAP's profile within the local community. Rudy is also committed to putting in place an infrastructure that will fulfill members' expectations and ensure that NAAAP Vancouver remains loyal to the goals and ideals as mandated.
Rudy is an investment advisor at Dundee Securities Corporation, where he
manages an investment and wealth management advisory practice, and he is
a Certified Portfolio Engineer (CPE).

Walt Woo Vice President
Walt Woo is happy to return to the board for a second year. Some goals for the
following year are to try and keep ahead of what is going on. He wants to
know what you would like to see more out of from NAAAP. What are some
events you would like to see in the upcoming year? What are some changes
you would like to see?
Last year, the inaugural Spotlight on Asian Leadership Celebration was an
event that exceeded all expectation. This year's goal includes building on
all the positives experiences and making this year's leadership forum
bigger and better.
Walt currently works for BMO Investments as a financial planner.

Holman
Lai
Treasurer
Holman is a graduate of the Political Sciences program at UBC. His
interests and talents are multi-faceted, ranging from writing (Holman
contributed regularly to UBC Perspectives, an Asian student publication) to
administration (he recently completed an internship with the PIVOT Legal
Society) to learning and applying economic theory. Holman looks forward to
helping NAAAP Vancouver serve and grow its membership in 2009.

Linton
Chokie
Secretary
Linton recently graduated from SFU with a B.A. in Geography. He is
passionate about mass media, sustainable development and issues surrounding
Asians living in Canada. He looks forward to planning a series of personal
and professional development events as well as the 2009 Spotlight on
Leadership celebration.

Tammy Tsang
Director of Communications
Tammy aims to work much like her business – integrity, generosity and fun.
In her work life, she has volunteered at several organization from as long
as she can remember. Over her work career, she has developed and originated
new programs, including mentorship and 360* employee assessment programs.
This all foreshadowed her founding My Loud Speaker in 2007. My Loud
Speaker’s vision is to inspire everyone to pursue their career dreams
through their mission of bridging the gap between NewGens (19-35yrs) and
businesses through innovative marketing and recruiting.

Jeff Lai
Director of Technology
Jeff graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BASc in Computer Engineering. Currently working as a software engineer for an Internet security firm, Jeff looks to facilitate the communication and collaboration within NAAAP through the use of technology.

Aurora Chan
Legal Counsel, E-nnouncement Administrator
Aurora returns to this year's board as a director to assist with the
board E-nnouncment communication functions. With her legal
background and experience, she will bring legal advice and support to the association. Aurora possesses strong organizational and communication skills.

Vania
Chan
Secretary
Vania studied computer science and education at UBC. She currently works at
IBM’s Pacific Development Centre as a Product Assurance Specialist. A
self-professed “learning geek,” Vania is enthusiastic about user
interface design, instructional design, teaching, and educational
technology. She looks forward to helping other NAAAP Vancouver members grow
in their personal and professional lives.

Alice Park
Membership Administrator
Alice holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in
Toronto, Ontario. She joins the board this year to contribute her energy
and enthusiasm to help Asian Canadians achieve success and equality in the
workplace and society. She will administer membership applications and
renewals.

Michelle Young
Vice-President
 As last year's Director of Events, Michelle's goal was to increase the value of a NAAAP membership by creating a number of quality events. This year, she intends to bring leadership direction and strategic growth to NAAAP as Vice-President.
Michelle is a professional career coach, with myCoach, where she works with young professionals to help them create the life they truly desire. She is a member of the International Coaches Federation (ICF), International Association of Coaches (IAC) and Chair of Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEA).
Craig Natsuhara
Aurora Chan
Legal Counsel
 As legal counsel, Craig and Aurora provide legal advice and support for the Association, including ensuring that the Association complies with societies laws and enters into agreements that ensure its interests. Both legal counsel are solicitors with reputable Vancouver firms.
