NAAAP FRIDAY NIGHT Film Screenings for Asian Heritage Month
You're invited! NAAAP Vancouver, CBC and the SFU CAC will be hosting a free community film screening during the weekend of May 23-24th which will feature three brilliantly filmed Asian documentaries (in English) that tell the rich stories of the South Asian, Chinese and Japanese communities in British Columbia. Increase your awareness of the histories of these Asian cultures in our wonderful province, and join us in celebrating Asian Heritage Month in Vancouver.
Friday night will feature two fantastic documentaries that will be sure to enlighten, educate and entertain: "CONTINUOUS JOURNEY" from the South Asian community, and "SHADOW OF GOLD MOUNTAIN" from the Chinese community. This will be followed by a panel discussion, which will include some of the filmmakers. Seating is limited (especially for the Saturday screening), and priority will be given to NAAAP members and SFU CAC members. RSVP is mandatory through the NAAAP website at www.naaap.bc.ca and admittance will not be allowed at the door. See you there!
