NAAAP At the Movies! Saturday Night Film Screenings for Asian Heritage Month - this is the second day of a two day film celebration.

You're invited! NAAAP Vancouver, CBC and the SFU CAC will be hosting a free community film screening during the weekend of May 23-24th which will feature three brilliantly filmed Asian documentaries (in English) that tell the rich stories of the South Asian, Chinese and Japanese communities in British Columbia. Increase your awareness of the histories of these Asian cultures in our wonderful province, and join us in celebrating Asian Heritage Month in Vancouver.

Saturday night will feature two fantastic documentaries that will be sure to enlighten, educate and entertain: "SLEEPING TIGERS: THE ASAHI BASEBALL STORY" from the Japanese community, "TAILOR MADE", a tale of a Chinese Canadian family in Chinatown and another short feature film, WESTERN SCHOOLS AKA COMMUNITIES WEST. This will be followed by a panel discussion, which will include some of the filmmakers. Seating is limited (especially for the Saturday screening), and priority will be given to NAAAP members and SFU CAC members.
