Web Writing Workshop: Giant Robot Invades Vancouver!

Attention bloggers, tweeters, web writers and media types: come join us for the next instalment of the web writing workshop series!

Schema Magazine is excited to present the next featured speakers for the 5th iWriteAboutMe workshop to be Asian-American pop culture pioneers, Eric Nakamura and Martin Wong, creators of the always fresh Giant Robot magazine!

These ultra-cool icons of the Asian-American experience will be joining us live via Skype from 6:30pm-8pm at the Museum of Vancouver for an exclusive and insightful interview about the past, present and future of Giant Robot, Asian-American pop culture, writing and more!

For the past 15 years, Giant Robot has been the premiere voice of a generation, spilling the news on all the latest innovators in music, art, film, literature and pop culture. They have also been one of the loudest voices of the Asian-American experience and were often the only ones to speak out about Asian-American history and alternative culture.

Eric and Martin are presented by Schema Magazine and the Museum of Vancouver, in partnership with the North American Association of Asian Professionals (NAAAP), theTyee.ca, Fresh Media (Vancouver).
